Chlorofoils

What we do // Chlorofoils

The future of sport is carbon neutral.

Our equipment needs to easily repaired and recycled at the end of it’s life.

Until we reach this point, we will continue to negatively impact our environment.

We have developed 75% bio-based composite dinghy foils.

Currently, the overwhelming majority of composites and plastics are built from petrochemicals. This means the composites will always have a climate impact, until we can replace these petrochemicals with bio-based equivalents.

Chlorofoils have the same performance profile as glass fibre, without the reliance on crude oil, without increasing the purchase cost to sailors. We are now working on a fully recyclable version.

We will be expanding this technology to other components and classes in the coming months and years.

Chlorofoils are currently available for the Europe class.
